Happy Birthday card featuring Anya

I made this card for a friend. This is one of the stamps I bought on my haul with Markerpop called Birthday Anya II and can be found here. She was a lot of fun to color. Hey Guys!  Here is my haul this month from MarkerPop. They have the best prices and fastest shipping. You also get free shipping on $50 purchase after you become a Gold Member.  I try to buy at least 10 Touch twin markers everytime I make a purchase so I can build my collection. Below the markers is X-Press IT Blending Paper. I want to try this out and see if it works better than the regular cardstock I'm using, especially with the digitals. I also got Swiss Pixies Coffee Birgitta and Birthday Anya II (2).

 

 

 

I bought (2) 6x6 paper pads. One is Wild Rose Studio - Bella and the other is Wild Rose Studio - Annabelle's Christmas. I also bought the MFT - royal die, and 3 more stamps. One is by AmyR Stamps-Mixed Messages, Wild Rose Studio - First Christmas and Dandelion Girl from Whimsy Stamps. I absolutely luv all of this and can't wait to play with it. I will definitely be working on some new cards.

Recipe swap card

Here is my 6x6 recipe card that I made for one of the groups I'm on. This is the best broccoli I have ever ate. I hope you get a chance to try it because it is delicious! I came across this recipe when I was doing the Phase 1 of the SBD. I revised it to suit my taste.

WOW - Almost a month...

I can't believe it has almost been a month since my last post. I have been busy making these gatefold Christmas cards. I made around 53, along with dealing with 3 almost 4 weeks of pneumonia. It has been a crazy, crazy month. I've also completed a recipe swap that I was in making 26 recipe cards which I will show later. I have so many things going on I can't even see straight. lol  I think it also has to do with the pneumonia. :d(

HYCCT1231 - A walk in the woods

This challenge was to use some outdoor inspiration. I used the fall tree with an owl.

HYCCT1230 - Cork, Canvas or Clay

This challenge was to use cork, canvas or clay. I had none of the above so I used my embossing folder and made a faux canvas. I love this stamp from SU. I didn't want to cover it up at all but figured it needed some type of sentiment.

HYCCT1229 - Real witches wear pink

This challenge was to make a  pocket card or card with a pouch to put a simple pre-packed treat into. I used the one sheet wonder treat box. In my box I have 2 fun size Hershey bars and 2 Milky Ways.

HYCCT1212 - Start Spreading the News

This challenge was to create a card inspired by a song (title or lyrics) from a musical or movie.
One of my fav's were Let's kiss and make up the other one I don't remember is He Loves and she loves. I'll have to check that one out sometime.

This challenge was to make a card with a decorative edge.

HYCCT1208 - Spelling Challenge

This challenge was to use the letters H-Y-C-C-T. Here's mine:

HYCCT1224 - Hugs & Kisses

This challenge was to use the kissing technique. This is my first time doing this and I had a lot of fun with it. It took me a while to figure out what stamp to use. These turned out better.

HYCCT1227 - Window of Hope

This challenge was to create a window with a little pink.

HYCCT1215B - Shine it out

This challenge was to use lots of sparkle. I can't tell it from my computer but the white cardstock is by DCWV with glitter on it also the blue flourish is glittery and shiny.

HYCCT1225B - Ta Ta Toe

This challenge was a Bingo card in which I used Pink, Buttons & Pattern Paper.

HYCCT1218 - Vital Signs

This challenge was to make a project with one of the four main vital signs. I used BREATH on mine. I used glossy accents on the middle part of the card with the doilies, it's hard to tell by the picture. I also have score lines on the white part using my scor-pal.

HYCCT1221 - Clearly Hopeful

 On this challenge you were to use something clear. I used clear dew drops.

HYCCT1225A - Let's lick this thing

This challenge was to make a card inspired by postage, using stamps or stamp shapes on your card.

HYCCT1226 - Who let the dogs out?

 

This challenge is for someone having a 'ruff day' it needed to have a dog on it and pink if possible.

HYCCT1219 - A Birthday in Pink

A Birthday in Pink with one of my favorite stamps!! Her cheeks look like my face when I'm having a hot flash. lol  I think I went a little to bright!

HYCCT1228 - Clean and Simple Statement

Here is my card for this challenge - Clean and simple, wow it doesn't get any easier than this. I have had this folder for a long time and just never used it until I saw AmyK8638 use it on Splitcoaststampers. I cas'd this card from her I did use a different sentiment and different paper. Thanks Amy!

HYCCT1223 Chicken S-O-U-P

This challenge was to use a chicken on your card and elements that spelled S-O-U-P. Mine are:

For this challenge I used the cute digi from The Digi Garden called Marcia's Chicken

HYCCT1222 - Stand Like a Flamingo!

 

This challenge was to  use only ONE of each supply I used 1 pink button, 1 ribbon and 1 saying. I found this paper while looking for a different paper and couldn't resist using it. I think it is by BasicGrey.

 

 

 

HYCCT1209 - You had me in stitches

This card was to be funny and have stitching real  or faux. I had a really good time with this one. I luv making the stitches and would have them on all my cards if I could.

HYCCT1215A - Peaceful Pink

This challenge was to create a card that evokes peace, calm and serenity with a touch of pink. This stamp has been on my wish list forever it makes me feel very calm when I look at it. I think it is so cute and will bring someone else  peace and calmness.

HYCCT1210 - Ship Shape

This challenge was to make a shaped card. No rectangles, squares or circles. I made an ice cream card. When you open it up it says 'you are a treat.'

HYCCT1207 - Music Soothes the soul

This challenge was to make a card using pink and a music stamp or paper.

HYCCT1206 - Three dies/punches and a sentiment

On this challenge we were to use 3 dies or punches and a sentiment making the dies stand out.

HYCCT1203 - Five words

This challenge was to use 5 words and make them the main focus.

HYCCT1220 - Hope is in the air

This challenge was to create something that could be found up in the air.

HYCCT1201C - Rays of Hope

The challenge on this card was to use gray tones with a splash of color. I added some pink behind the image and pink ribbon on the die cut.

I got the inspiration for this card from colors in the video "The Monster Mash."
I got this cutie from Pink Gem Designs  as a free digi from their newsletter. She is just so adorable and easy to color. I had fun cutting her out too. They have several more of these cuties so check out their blog.

TOTALLY AWESOME From Marker Pop

This is on the Marker Pop Website here. I have been looking for something to store my Shinhan Touch pens in and finally have found it. I have it on my Pinterest Website and also my Facebook but for some reason my blog want take my pinterest account. I am definitely going to order these. I am keeping them in a 12x12 box and it takes me forever to find my colors. I can now get organized and have them in sight.. Thanks Marker Pop for having these!!

HYCCT1204 - Strip Please

For this challenge:

We all know, or will know, when you head in to get your mammogram you are asked to strip! So let's embrace it!
